After researching about the intertidal zones, I realized how harsh the lives of the organisms living there are. I tried to dig up clams when I was younger. Now I feel bad... I also realized just how good my life is compared to theirs. Again, I feel bad for them... I think we should all be thankful that we are not clams :) (Just wanted to share this with everyone)

Hi everyone, after I researched about tides, I discovered that there are really amazing things that occur during tidal events. There are animals that dependent their survival on the tides, they go up and down with the tide, and if they did not successfully go at the same time as the tides, then they will have a very high chance of dying. After doing the Garbage Island research, I realized how much we are damaging this beautiful planet, and I felt extremely guilty for simply using plastic bags. I hope I did not make you guys feel as guilty as me. Anyway, I think that we should all do something to help stop pollution. Please do, the planet needs everyone's help! You can always start with something as simple as recycling.
